Sometimes it’s deafening.
The decibel level of insanity
All across the land.
Can you hear it?
I wish I couldn’t.
But it’s impossible to ignore.
Sometimes it drowns out everything else.
Sometimes it’s all I can hear.
Even when just cruising along
and staying in my lane
The noise swerves into me.
Consumes me.
Engulfs me.
Sometimes.
